• Responsible for selling firearms and related items in-store, over the phone, and via gunbroker.com.• Assist manager in placing annual and intermittent firearms and ammunition orders. • Work closely with sales representatives on a daily basis to procure specific products for customers.• Utilize Facebook and Mailchimp to inform customers of newly received items and special offers.• Communicate with factory representatives regarding customer warranty and service requests.

Over the past year, I have had the pleasure of working on a startup founded and based at Trinity University with a fellow entrepreneur. Pok-It received funding from the university after winning the seed round of the Stumberg Venture competition. Additionally, the team participated in the Trinity University summer accelerator and learned a great deal about building a successful startup.Contributions:-Pitched company at the Stumberg Venture competition seed round and final round along with founder.-Successfully negotiated sales to other small businesses.
