The Sales Development Program is an intensive multi-month training program designed to take new sales reps in the construction equipment rental industry and equip them with the proper knowledge to take on an outside-sales territory within United Rentals while providing world-class expertise and value to our customers. As Project Manager, I lead nationwide recruiting efforts for new Sales Associates in the Sales Development Program, create and oversee new employee onboarding training and certification, identify and implement new technology for training and evaluation of sales skills, create and deliver educational curriculums regarding the equipment rental industry at large, measure and assess trainees performance against cohorts for skill and behavior traits, track post-training success of sales reps.
