Everett Kim is a Film & Media Composer and Educator from Manhattan Beach, California. After graduating Berklee College of Music with a scholarship in 2020, he continued his education at the University of Southern California in the Thornton School of Music's prestigious Screen Scoring Masters Program where he was selected to receive one of four scholarships awarded to the class of 2022. Shortly after graduating USC, he landed his first major feature film project, "A Great Divide", starring Ken Jeong, Jae Suh Park, Miya Cech, and Emerson Min. Everett has also composed music for many short films, animated films and indie projects that have been selected for festivals such as the Tribeca Film Festival and the Bentonville Film Festival.Everett also has extensive experience as a music performing arts educator of all ages. He has taught clinics internationally in places such as Japan, Latin America, and Canada. Currently he works with the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps and Arcadia High School's World Class Indoor Percussion ensemble. He also gives private lessons in Music Composition to high school students in preparation for college applications as well as Piano, Trumpet, French Horn, and Percussion lessons to students as young as 6 years old.
