As a faculty-based Donor Relations Officer, I oversaw donor recognition and stewardship for UBC Sauder. This role is was created in 2014 to aid fundraising efforts in building a lifelong relationship with Sauder’s constituents and ensure the best possible donor experience, by:• Creating a solid operational foundation to ensure effective engagement and stewardship based on best practice from the industry• Engage Students, Staff, Faculty & Faculty Advisory Board Members in saying thank-you• Deliver communications that inform donors the impact of giving to the School • Increase donor retention, elevate donor engagement strategies and encourage larger gifts• Provide ongoing, meaningful information pertinent to their area of interest/support to major donors and leadership volunteers Some of my key responsibilities are : • Top donor stewardship engagement strategies• Review and audit of all DAE communications (thank-you calls, letters acknowledgements, giving clubs) and endowment reporting in order to develop mechanisms that allow for greater personalization and customization to UBC Sauder• Review proposals & gift agreements for appropriate recognition • Work with frontline fundraisers to create donor recognition plans• Creation of tailored stewardship reports for individuals, corporations and foundations• Collaborate with central units on Principal Gift donor engagement plans• Mentor and train colleagues in areas of stewardship and recognition • Collaborate with UBC Sauder’s Leadership & Annual Fund Program to ensure donors at all levels are recognized

Coordinated alumni giving campaign for Sauder's Opening Worlds Campaign - a building revitalization project. Organized 20 lead alumni volunteers to encourage their classmates to give back.
