I am an experienced and self motivated packaging professional who is honest, direct and service driven. My first objective with any new potential client is to evaluate and provide a full analysis of the solutions in place to determine whether they can be improved upon or streamlined. At this stage, 'sales' is a low priority to me. How can you possibly sell your product before determining whether the solutions proposed will be correct, save your client money and be of potential benefit to his or her business? So many sales personnel fall into the trap of being 'me too' salespersons, whilst losing sight of the real objectives. This is of course to form a long and lasting partnership based upon trust, confidence, friendship and mutual respect. This takes time and patience and can never be rushed! Once a partnership has been established (which could take months in some cases), the by-product of this is usually a good business relationship which will benefit both parties.
