Do what you love. My career is based on my passion for helping others and for solving problems with innovative, effective solutions. What has made me successful is my third passion: I love helping people and companies be better. The core of this has become what I call profit engineering.This started with equipment support analysis, led to building a company that made the Inc 500 as one of America's fastest growing companies, and now has circled back to profitable industrial/heavy equipment. Only today it includes a layer of technology and data. My work strategy encompasses combining proven industrial/systems engineering techniques with innovative practices and tools to uncover and address profitability. Killing profit vampires; engineering programs and business 'engines' so they are profitable; and ensuring the capital needed is there. Every problem is unique, and I work hard to build a solid, productive, trusting relationship with each of my customers. This approach not only helps my clients address their issues and achieve their goals, it helps them better understand and improve their business. I do a lot of repeat business.People have described me as confident, versatile, self-aware, enthusiastic, and creative. I’ve been told I have chutzpah, but am not antagonistic. I've never been afraid to start a conversation or suggest a new path. My experience has taught me to get feedback and adjust rapidly - excellent traits when working to make continual improvements over time.
