I manage recruitment efforts for a variety of market research clients. I work on both solo and team recruitment efforts for research studies run by many nationally-known companies, making sure to deliver precisely what clients need. Whether I am recruiting for medical device usability studies, online focus groups, in-person consumer product testing, or studies of industry professionals, I always try my best to deliver results. In order to find and recruit the best fitting participants for our clients, I work with software like Survey Monkey, Research Tracker, Canva, and Excel. I believe that using these softwares to organize lists of potential participants to reach out to is essential to making recruitment as fast and accurate as possible. Perhaps the most important part of the job is not so technical- rather, it is meeting people where they are.Everyone involved in the research process needs communication that meets their needs. Clients need to clear communications about recruitment status and any issues that may arise. Potential recruits need to be quickly assured of the legitimacy of our efforts and need to hear a friendly voice to explain why we need their help. After recruitment, participants need clear communication about our client's expectations and how they can reach out to us for support. Colleagues need clear communication as well- everyone has strengths that can be played to and things that they may need help with.My project management philosophy is to communicate often, encourage creativity, and to make personal connections with others.

I recruited participants for qualitative research projects via telephone, text messaging, and email. This involved asking oral screening questions, gauging the prospect's engagement, scheduling participants, and adhering to complex participant quotas. I also engaged in Internet research in order to learn more about various participant segments and where to find them. I recruited for medical device usability studies, service design studies, political focus groups, technology usability studies, consumer insight studies, an LGBTQ bulletin board study, and many other projects. After several months in this role, I was promoted to a managerial position.
