• Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of IT hardware, software and related infrastructure• Ensuring hardware, operating systems, software applications and any related procedures adhere to organizational values and best practises.• Service, maintain, commission and support office platforms, with a view towards high availability• Support for workstations (Windows as well as a few Mac OS PCs) and mobile devices accessing work information and platforms• Office365 and related services (ie. Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, OneDrive, Skype for Business). • Microsoft Networking Services (ie. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, WSUS and scripting)• Provide end user IT support, ensuring that minimum service levels are maintained• Installation of new systems and user setup/configurationIT Project Functions:• Manage the project management of all IT department projects• Coordinate with other project management functions in the business when cross-department projects are applicable• Manage projects in a manner that ensures projects are met in budget and on time• Ensure that all projects are aligned to company strategyIT Procurement Functions:• Implement and maintain a company-wide hardware and software procurement policy and process• Ensure that al hardware and software are tracked and documented • Ensure that hardware tracking is done• Ensure all business units are trained and collaborating in terms of IT as key stakeholder in all procurementInternal System Audits•Conducting audits on internal systems.• Access management to systems.•Conduct IT General Control Reviews•Conduct IT Application Control Reviews• Compliance management on systems.

1. Responsibilities included managing the IT Help desk, assisting users with issues and escalating tickets to my co-workers. 2. Managing printers. Ordering of cartridges, Assisting users with printers problems and logging calls with the company if they have to send technicians out to resolve the issues I can’t resolve. 3. Setting up computers and laptops. Joining the computers and laptops on our domain. Installing software on machines. Setting users up on the computers with their email and SharePoint etc.4. Email Exchange, Archiving user’s mail and basic email troubleshooting.5. Managing the Asset register, booking in all new equipment on excel and keeping register up to date.6. Time genius, pulling weekly clock in reports for our department.7. Scanner Audits, doing weekly scanner audit at the fair cape farm. 8. Filling of laptop agreements, scanner agreements and tablet agreements. Making sure that all paper work is up to date if equipment is in for repairs.
