Faisal primary role is a strategic role overseeing the development / maintenance of the enterprise data warehouse and various data integration layers within the date warehouse. He is responsible for maintaining and enhancing various inhouse or off-the-shelf applications including Salesforce Marketing Cloud(external), Microsoft CRM(external), Apparel 21(external), ProCube(external), Maple Lake(external), Zendesk(external), Member Portal(inhouse), Order Tracker(inhouse), On Demand(inhouse), QlikView Dashboards(inhouse), Marketing Cube(inhouse), Brand Cubes(inhouse) etc. His core responsibilities are: • Define, shape and develop the data and BI strategy.• Work with the executive leadership team as the owner of insights and analytics.• Shift the company to Self-Service Analytics and support access to data at all levels.• Manage the Project delivery and BAU work within the Data and Analytics team.• Technical leadership for different projects using Agile Project methodology• Work with IT Operations to ensure key risks with the data platform are managed• Manage vendor relationships, negotiations and budgets• Talent management, recruitment and interviewing• Guide, coach and mentor a team

Faisal is working as a BI Technology Specialist for Credit Corp Group and his primary responsibility is to develop, enhance and maintain Credit Corp’s data warehouse, business intelligence and reporting environment to support business decision processes and operational strategy. Three major accountabilities of his roles and the core deliverables (KPI) of his role are:Accountability: Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence• Design Data Warehouse including data models and data cubes• Implement and enhance Data Warehouse with ETL processes• Work closely with key stakeholders such as Analytics team to continually extend data available and enhance the Data Warehouse design• Deliver high quality, user friendly Reports for the Lending and Collections Business.Accountability: Project Delivery & Enhancement• Assisting in the preparation of business cases recommending a specified solution and detailing the rationale/benefits of each project and enhancement.• Prioritise all assigned projects to realise the stated benefits while minimising the risk of delay, overspend and unforseen adverse outcomes via the change management process.Accountability: Availability and Performance• Maintain system availability and performance service levels (including bugs) for all reports, databases and websites.• Participate in implementing policies, procedures and appropriate technologies (including redundancy) to achieve agreed availability and performance service levels.

Credit Loss Management (CLM) project objective is to enhance the Groups credit loss portfolio through a series of interrelated initiatives which will optimise the Loss Given Default (LGD) framework, reassess the Security Lending Margin (SLM) framework and avoid loan impairment expense by sharing undesirable contact information Group-wide. Faisal is responsible for the data load component of the project which involves data load from various source systems to in-house system (FARLO) using SSIS packages. The packages are scheduled to run daily or monthly for ongoing data loads using SQL Server Agent. The development of whole framework to load data from source to target is also responsibility of Faisal.

Faisal worked as Senior BI Consultant, during his short stay he was involve in two customer engagements. Project (Achievements):Health Industry (Health & Security Risk)Small engagement of 3 weeks to migrate Existing SSIS, SQL Jobs and Database from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2012. Technologies used for this solution are SQL Server 2012, and SSIS 2012. Education Industry (University)Small engagement were Faisal worked with other Analytics8 consultant on design and build of Enterprise Data warehouse project using Data Vault methodology. For rapid development of SSIS packages BIML script is used which reads the system and some configuration tables to produce SSIS packages. These packages load data from source to stage and then from stage to Hubs and Satellites. Technologies used for this solution are SQL Server 2012, SSIS 2012, BIML, and MIST.

Faisal is working as a BI team lead in NEC. His responsibilities are divided into three major areas Delivery, Customer engagement and Leadership. Delivery:• Deliver lead consulting work within his area of expertise, includes business analysis, workshop facilitation, problem definition, solution design, effort estimation, dimensional modeling, BI environment setups, and ETL architecture• Continuously improve NEC delivery methodology and BI framework• Provide customer facing pre-sales services (discovery, needs analysis, demos)Customer Engagement:• Establish oneself as the “go to” person i.e. trusted advisor at client sites• Actively grow key accounts as a result of personal demonstrable value• Acts as a point of escalation for technical issues in his area of expertiseLeadership:• Provide peer-review and mentoring for other team members• Prepare and lead presentations for team meetings to foster team learning• Cultivating a positive and competent working environment

Faisal is working as a senior consultant in Avanade. His responsibilities depends on the project he assigned too, while he is on bench he work closely with BD’s and Pre Sales team to do estimations and client presentations for BI project in the sales pipeline.

Faisal worked as a data warehouse administrator in IT department. The IT department provides solutions to users of business across Asia Pacific. These solutions include Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Email Marketing, Insurance and Claim System, Data Warehousing and Reporting. Faisal duties includes design, development, implementation and support of these solutions, working closely with third party and other service providers related to the company to meet stakeholder requirements. During his two years stay at this company, he designed and developed number of existing and new systems, which includes; new ETL process for CRM, Campaign Management System, and new CRM system.
