I was born to parents of Afghan descent, in the city of Karachi, Pakistan in the epic year of 1993. I moved to America in July of 1999 and lived in New York till about 2016. So with that, two things are very true. I take Pizza very seriously, and I am Knicks fan. I graduated with my B.A from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA in 2019. Currently, I am working for CarMax, as a Customer Experience Consultant! I love my role. It involves a diverse set of individuals handling complex interactions while coordinating across various channels and striving to reach the best possible outcomes. It can definitely be tough, but nothing is more rewarding than guiding a customer to their goals.Across my life, in both my interpersonal and professional journeys, I have learned some key lessons that span many fields and are applicable in a lot situations. For starters, learn to control your controlables and clarify what you can't control. Second, having a plan is usually the better bet, however, being open to organic interactions and processes can be fruitful. Finally, having the courage of when to say no, and when to speak up. I do not believe there is an arbitrary role or field that best suites me. I am ever changing and with that so are my interests. I do know, if given the opportunity, I aim to become a pivotal member of an organization I am part of. I strive for maximum efficiency and am ruled by logic and strategic planning. Most will consider me extremely competitive with a strong sense of integrity and passion. I prefer a health balance of guidance and autonomy. When I am not working, I am either in the gym, with my family or playing video games. Also, I am an only child but am a big proponent of majority rules. Individual needs are trivial to the needs of the majority and/or the best possible outcome. Countries I have visited: Saudia Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey.Random Fact: My favorite sneaker of all time is the Jordan 1 high top, preferred color way, black toe.
