Tanks Maintenance Planner
CurrentResponsible for out-of-service and in-service maintenance in Geelong oil refinery to ensure that storage tanks are properly maintained, inspected, and serviced according to regulatory standards and operational needs. - planning and coordinating maintenance schedules, inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.- Develop and implement detailed maintenance plans for storage tanks, including both out-of-service and in-service maintenance.- Maintain a comprehensive schedule of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.- Plan and oversee regular inspections of storage tanks, both internal and external, to assess their condition and identify maintenance needs.- Track inspection results and manage records of findings and recommendations.- Ensure all maintenance and inspection activities comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments- Liaise with internal and external teams, including operations, maintenance, safety, contractors and environmental departments, to coordinate tank maintenance activities.- Provide regular updates and reports to management on the status of tank maintenance - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and inspection activities, findings, repairs- Generate detailed reports on tank maintenance status, compliance, and recommendations.- Utilize maintenance management software and tools to track and manage maintenance activities.- Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, required for tank maintenance activities.- Monitor and control maintenance budgets and expenditures.- Identify opportunities for improving tank maintenance processes and procedures.- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency - Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes
