Through research experiences, I’ve immersed myself into various topics ranging from astroparticle physics, observational astronomy, and experimental high-energy physics. As a result, I have experience building numerical simulations and analyzing large-survey data. The computational techniques and algorithms that I have accumulated include building Monte-Carlo simulations, creating Lomb-Scargle periodograms, querying and analyzing data, creating informative data visualizations, and applying statistical concepts of measurement error and prediction. During my time at Muon g-2, Fermilab, I have also built engineering skills such as designing and modeling via Autodesk Inventor (CAD).I completed each project with a desire to delve deeper into methodology, and now, in high-energy physics (HEP), I have many more questions and an unstoppable drive to challenge the Standard Model!

Engineering PhysicistFermilab Oct 2022 - Aug 2023Batavia, Illinois, United StatesI worked with Dr. Brendan Kiburg on obtaining a precision determination of the radial and longitudinal field components of the Muon g-2 experiment. I studied their effects on the electric dipole moment measurement using Python and ROOT and designed a new method to directly measure the radial field. Additionally I actively contributed to data acquisition for Muon g-2. I also worked on updating and debugging the Programmable Logic Control for the Mu2e experiment. -
Gem InternFermilab May 2022 - Aug 2022I studied the effects of the radial and longitudinal components of the magnetic field in the Muon g-2 magnet. In the measurement of the electric dipole moment (EDM), a leading systematic error is the presence of radial magnetic fields which tilts the precession plane and is indistinguishable from a true EDM. The average radial magnetic field can be determined by studying the muon beam distribution and its vertical components. To minimize this systematic uncertainty in EDM analysis, I re-designed a platform intended to mount a Hall probe and directly measure the radial magnetic field as a function of azimuth.

Undergraduate Student ResearcherUc Berkeley Astronomy Department Jun 2020 - Feb 2021I searched for hypervelocity white dwarf stars from dynamically driven double-degenerate double-detonation scenarios in Gaia-PS1-SDSS Proper Motion Catalog using Astronomical Data Query Language. I also created a Monte-Carlo simulation of the Milky Way Galaxy in Python to determine an expected number of hypervelocity white dwarf stars near Earth to compare with my survey search.
