Flagship Branch, LahoreManaged a portfolio of more than PKR 4,000 MM of deposits and delivered 30% growth in the deposit base of the branch during the tenor. The branch and the team consistently outperformed other branches on revenue generation. The branch closed highest businesses for Bancassurance and Investments products.With an organizational turnover rate of more than 25%, managed to engage and retain all the original staff assigned to the branch.

Was brought in to establish and organize the business development function for the chemicals trading business. It is a role deemed critical to achieve the aggressive growth targets and sustainability of the business. Generated around PkR 120 Mn of revenue from new businesses adding around 9% of total revenues of the trading division. Maintained a healthy mix between short-term trading opportunities as well as focusing on longer term strategic developments, often expanding to 3-5 year horizon.Developed access to various potential principals by building business plans and models. Was able to actively engage more than 10 potential principals, currently all are at different levels of development.Maintain a close working relationship with techno-commercial team of 9 managers to lead co-op projects. Developed various presentations and analysis to assist the Marketing Manager in formulating a comprehensive and conclusive long-term strategy for the business.Regular interactions with international principals, often medium to large sized global companies, mostly based out of Europe, China, India, and SEA.

Responsible for the sales of Glidden brand in the North region ranging from Jehlum river to the NWFP, Hazara and Azad Kashmir territories accounting for 40% of total volume.Delivered a CAGR of 34% against market growth of 9% during residence period.Besides volume accountability took on the added responsibility of gross margin delivery for own region. Strategizing mainly around product mix of premium brands assisted the Marketing Manager to achieve the national gross margin target.Took the bold decision on own initiative to disband two out of three distributors; subsequently started servicing the NWFP, Hazara, and Azad Kashmir territories directly and pioneered the national strategy.Managing a retail network of approximately 120 shops along with several institutional clients. Grew retail network by 30% during the tenure.Leading a team of more than 20 people, effectively engaging them to maximize the sales potential in the region. LahoreManaged the complete demand planning function for the Industrial Paints business. Undertook cross-functional activities, including liaison with R&D and manufacturing to ensure on time in full execution of all sales orders.Identified improvement areas to achieve operational excellence. Developed and enhanced import ordering system that brought down inventory from 90 days to 60 days. Also developed a system that ensured EOQ batches.Worked in close collaboration with the Business Manager to assist in preparation of budgets and strategy. Drafted several proposals for securing new businesses.Maintained amicable and engaging relationship status with our Japanese / Malaysian and Thai principals for business activities.
