Published comprehensive research paper titled "Radio AGN in nearby dwarf galaxies: the important role of AGN in dwarf galaxy evolution, Davis et al (2022)."The study investigates the role of active galactic nuclei (AGN) in dwarf galaxies, which is crucial for understanding the complexities of galaxy evolution. Combining optical and radio data to examine nearby dwarf galaxies hosting radio AGN and comparing them to a control sample. Through sophisticated simulations, I explored properties of AGN within dwarf galaxies and compared their energy output against the binding energy of their gas reservoirs. Findings indicate AGN triggering is likely stochastic, and not driven by specific environmental circumstances. AGN in dwarfs are young and exhibit similar gas properties to their control counterparts. The study suggests AGN feedback is plausible in dwarfs, as in massive galaxies.
