Creative Discovery Fellows ProgramThe program supports instructors and students to exercise their creativity in ways that challenge existing assumptions, beliefs, and power structures; that propel discovery and meaningful self-reflection, and that contribute to and strengthen Berkeley's mission as a public institution.Coordinated the design team to host workshops teaching Adobe programs, built out a student design hub filled with guides on Adobe applications, project mediums, and design concepts, provided in-class presentations and other support for students working on creative projects, oversaw the development of 2 student consultants, and assisted with the creation of an equity based learning curriculum.

DREAM (Diversity, Respect, Equity, Action, Multiculturalism) OfficeThe mission of the DREAM Office is to prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in creating a public health workforce that mirrors the demographics of our communities.Spearheaded the redesign of the office (conducted research on our target audience, created the logo and brand guide, and redesigned all office materials), designed and managed social media content (Facebook, Instagram, newsletter), implemented marketing strategy for the annual Fall Prospective Student Conference, and supported with outreach, evaluation, and other office tasks.

The Asian Pacific American Student Development (APASD) office serves the diverse and changing needs of Asian American, Pacific Islander, South Asian, Southwest Asian and North African (AA/PI/SSWANA) communities by equipping students with the tools and resources to transform themselves and their communities.Managed social media, analyzed metrics to determine strategies to improve engagement, curated and created content for the office, and spearheaded the marketing for the annual Asian Pacific Islander Issues Conference that amassed over 250 participants.

Collaborated with two other interns to create Southeast Asian-centered programming for the year including events focused on the census, anti-deportation work, and more.

The Berkeley Food Institute seeks to transform food systems to expand access to healthy, affordable food and promote sustainable and equitable food production. We empower new leaders with capacities to cultivate diverse, just, resilient, and healthy food systems.Curated content to post on social media channels through Hootsuite, maintained institute branding and messaging, tracked communications with community partners, associated faculty, and general inquiries through Salesforce, and brought in an accessibility-centered lens to the redesign of the institute website.

Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Los Angeles was formerly the largest civil rights organization serving Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, and Native Hawaiians in the United States. The organization serves disadvantaged and marginalized communities through direct services, political advocacy, and grassroots organizing.Developed and conducted marketing strategies to promote 3+ events that averaged over 100 guests each, provided photography and design services, and worked on the New Americans Campaign by storyboarding, filming, and editing commercials to publicize the organization’s citizenship services.

The Daily Californian is an independent, student-run newspaper that serves the University of California, Berkeley campus and its surrounding community.Created 2-3 motion graphics using Adobe After Effects and Illustrator for recently released articles and quizzes weekly for the newspaper’s Snapchat discovery channel.
