Senior Business Intelligence Specialist
Current• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex analytic solutions by applying expert level understanding of Business Intelligence best practices.• Use the latest Business Intelligence development tools, methods, and technologies to implement high performance, complex analytic solutions• Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad-hoc analysis.• Responsible for consulting with different departments on business needs, translating business needs into analytics/reporting requirements. Responsible for preparing detailed report specifications document. • Implementation of and the transition to OBIEE as the preferred enterprise reporting software• Solely responsible for architecting OBIEE solution to analyze Enterprise case management and new risk engine systems• Iterative development of dashboards, Answers requests, charts, pivot table layouts, dashboard prompts• Ownership of the overall design of the solutions, including data models, information delivery and ETL mappings• Program, test, implement and maintain any data extraction programs necessary to extract the data from the operational systems needed to be moved to the Data Warehouse. • Work as a member of the delivery team to implement reporting and analytic solutions, components of solutions delivered to Dubai Customs business departments or business partners.• Provide expert advice on best data warehousing approach of industry accepted design techniques including things like technology stack, OLAP persistence approach and fact tables’ schema (Star and Snowflake) based on business intelligence and analytical requirement. • Maintain operational data warehouses to ensure reports accuracy and synchronization with changes in transactional systems.
