I have worked as an independent mediator and trainer in the fields of employment, workplace, labour/management, and commercial disputes for more than 30 years both in the UK and internationally. I mediate through the Center for Effective Dispute Resolution Chambers panel and Oxford Mediation. I am a mediator on the Court of Appeal panel of mediators in the UK. I am a CEDR accredited mediator, and an ILM Qualified Workplace Mediator. I am also a Fellow of the Civil Mediation Council in the UK and a Certified mediator with the International Mediation Institute.As a mediator, I aim to facilitate mediation processes so that parties agree the best outcomes to their disputes themselves. It is also important to me that parties feel that they have been treated equally and with dignity and respect and that they have been heard. My settlement rate verges on 100%.As a trainer, I use techniques which maximise learner participation; these include role-plays, case studies and interactive exercises.
