An explorer, nerd, and constant learner who grew up in Brazil and is currently located in Vancouver. I am an international student at the University of British Columbia, where I pursue an International Relations degree with a minor in Commerce. Throughout my past experiences, I've developed valuable experience in the customer service area, focusing on customer needs and problem-solving. I am also comfortable using various types of retail-related software, such as LightSpeed, Shopify and ShipStation. I am constantly aiming to thrive out of my comfort zone, and that is what made me leave a comfortable life in my small hometown behind. Coming to Canada was no easy task, but I believe that my success so far relies on my three strongest skills.Teamwork - A team is as strong as its weakest member. However, a team of competent members is capable to achieve much greater heights. Due to this fact, I have always tried to accept advice from my peers as well as give constructive feedback.Interpersonal Skills - The privilege of interacting with people from different backgrounds and cultures transformed me into someone comfortable interacting with a client and negotiating possible solutions.Resilience - Mistakes should be avoided if possible, but I excel at understanding a problem and finding creative ways to overcome it. Instead of giving up after the first obstacles I encounter, I change my strategy and keep going.
