At Auckland Castle I am developing the organisation from a start up to a professional trust operating museums and gallery exhibitions on a national and international level. I hold responsibility for creative content and delivery. These include the history of the Prince Bishops of Durham, a new National Museum for the History of Faith and Religion (5000 Years of Faith), and a new gallery of Spanish Art in the United Kingdom. One of the largest working episcopal palaces in Europe, Auckland Castle has received major Heritage Lottery Funding to create these national and international quality offerings to influence wider regeneration of Bishop Auckland and County Durham.
