Hi,thanks for reading my profile! Here you are about to meet some chapters of my life!My name is Fernanda, as you already know and I'm from Brazil - Rio de Janeiro. In 2018 I graduated from Law School, but not before taking a break to improve my English skills. So in 2016, I participated in an exchange program for about a year. I never thought that being able to communicate in another language would make me feel as empowered as I did. After my return home, I signed up as an intern at BNDES, a National Bank whose mission is to contribute to the development of small and large companies in the country. In the same year, I had the opportunity to go to Prague to work on a project about human rights. For three months I lived in this beautiful city and wrote my final thesis about the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights. It was a very rewarding experience!Now you might be wondering what happened in my life...making a long story short after I graduated I moved to Munich. Since my arrival in Germany, I have been learning German, finished C1 at MVHS, and got a certificate of proficiency in German level B2/C1. I also worked as an assistant in a patent office for about 3 years, and I can honestly say that I felt very blessed to work in a very welcoming environment where I felt free to ask questions, show my opinions, make mistakes and learn from them.For some time I have been thinking about starting a career in Human Resources, I did some research and asked friends who work in the field what it was like to be a generalist in human resources and decided to give it a try. I am currently working as a human resources administrator at Amazon and I couldn't be happier. I am recognizing many skills that guide me to be a better helper to my colleagues. During my time working at Amazon, I have learned a lot about what comprises the routine of an HR administrator, developed skills on how to make our work environment more inviting, and been very happy to find my way to the solution of some problems that come my way. I love interacting with people because I believe that everyone has something to teach and something to learn. After all, life would be very boring if we knew everything. I also enjoy learning about finance, art, and history. Yes, I guess I am a very eclectic person :) Thanks for your interest in getting to know me!
