Worked in an agile team of 4 developing a black box engine solution for detecting anomalies in real-time smart meter water usage data. The solution ensures the customers of Smarter Technologies are notified of any abnormalities in their water usage i.e water leaks, fraudulent and stagnant usage, water left running, etc. to help save on customer expenses. Developed an internal prototype web application product that acts like LinkedIn matching employees within the company with each other based on requested skills. The application was created within a strict deadline of 4 weeks using Springboot. As scrum master, managed the team of 4, ensuring progress was tracked through burn-down chart and cumulative flow diagrams. Arranged and structured sprints by hosting daily scrums and retrospectives. Personally developed a login and registration feature, created API endpoint allowing users to save their skills to SQL database along with a search bar feature enabling the user to search the persistent database for users with a desired skill. An ecology research project, built a scalable android app using Java object-oriented for users to be able to identify wildlife with their phone and alternatively discuss their findings on the social platform implemented. Working within a team of 4 engineers, developing a back pain/relief assessment web application that would allow patients to identify their type of back pain by completing a questionnaire describing their symptoms and processing this data in a way that a medical consultant can efficiently review and diagnose. Implemented the front-end, introducing usability and accessibility for the user and constructing application layout by manipulating elements using jQuery. Implemented features with Python Flask such as validating answered questions based on case context and storing session data. Flask was used in conjunction with an SQLite database to store user details and data.
