I have recently completed my final year of a double Bachelor in Arts and Business (Marketing) at Monash University, Caulfield with majors in History and Marketing.I grew up in Sydney and attended Saint Ignatius' College, Riverview from 2005 to 2012. Following a year living and working in Dublin, Ireland at Belvedere College S.J., I began studying at Monash.My Business degree has given me the opportunity to study Strategic, Digital, and Analytical Marketing, Market Research, Data Analysis and International Marketing as well as core units in Management, Accounting and Finance, Business Statistics, Economics and Commercial Law. In my Arts degree, in addition to my History major, I have completed a Criminology minor and have studied Sociology units.During my time at Monash I have been heavily involved in extra curricular leadership roles. My involvements include being the Vice President and formerly Marketing Officer for Monash's Student Union, MONSU, holding elected positions as President of the Monash Marketing Students' Society (MMSS) - the largest club on campus, executive roles as the Marketing Coordinator and Business and Outreach Coordinator of Amnesty International Monash Caulfield (AIMC) and the position of General Committee member of the Caulfield Arts Society (CAS), one of the largest social clubs on campus .Other Higher Education courses I have completed include a Certificate IV in Frontline Management and a Certificate IV in Travel and Tourism. I have also completed Bronze Medallion, Advanced Resuscitation and Spinal First Aid Qualifications, Grievance Officer Training and Mental Health First Aid Training.

Prior to holding the role as Marketing Coordinator, I was the Business and Outreach Coordinator in February and March of 2016. This role involved budget and finance responsibilities alongside the Treasurer and formulating strategies to engage and grow our membership and committee base.Having a smaller executive team, the demands require a broad skill set. As Marketing Coordinator, some of the responsibilities include:- Promoting brand awareness and student engagement- Planning, coordinating and implementing marketing strategy and direction- Assisting in the organisation of Orientation Week, membership drives and event launches- Event promotion and ticket sales- Event planning and management- Frontline management of committee- Correspondence with speakers and presenters- Social media marketing and strategySome of the achievements I have been involved with in this role include increasing the membership base to over 100 members, more than doubling the size of the committee with the addition of 12 new committee members, running the two largest events in AIMC history with our 'Back to Uni Drinks' and 'Light the Night Monash'. The latter recorded our largest Facebook reach in the society's history with over 12000 people, an increase of more than 240% on our record at the start of the year. Our Social Media Marketing strategy led to an increase in Facebook likes of 45%, including a 21% increase during our aggressive two week marketing campaign over orientation week. Given that brand awareness was one of my primary responsibilities, I was particularly proud of these achievements.
