Social care: 2006 - Present. Supporting individuals with LD, MH, autistic spectrum and physical disabilities in both adults and children’s services. Experience of managing a variety of registered services since 2014. Winner at the National Housing Awards 2018 - ‘empowering staff to empower tenants’ award. I graduated with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Textiles and Surface Design in 2014. Whilst at uni I gained experience experimenting with different techniques and media to create prints for fashion, interiors and paper. I was given the opportunity to compete a variety of work placements as well as being selected for design fairs in London, Brussels, New York and Paris. Prints produced during my final major project were selected for New Designers 2014 in London and SDC international Design competition held in Bradford, March 2014, finishing in the top three. Since leaving uni I have set up as a freelance designer working on specific design briefs for a variety of companies. My most recent piece of work being rebranding a local farm shop including packaging, products, logo, stationary and artwork. Alongside this I design prints for my own business, ‘make the footprints’. I specialise in creating layouts using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with hand painted pieces.
