This role encompasses managing the day to day and long term running of a Level 2 SCN. Rostering, managing daily KPI’s. Clinical and resource support to staff, patients and families. Managing financial matters, budget preparation, and cost control for my team. Implementing and maintaining safe, efficient and effective best processes to foster best practices.

The role encompasses management, administration and collaboration for 168 bed hospital out of hours. Areas I manage within this co-located site include Cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, spinal, endovascular, liver, orthopaedics, general surgery, general medicine, maternity, paediatrics, CCU,ICU.I have proven conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation skills relating to both staff and patients. I follow incidents and review outcomes. I am responsible for the ongoing and constant changing staffing issues throughout the hospital.My responsibilities extend to teaching neonatal resuscitation programs and basic life support for adults and paediatrics.
