• Working between the Trading and Finance teams to ensure multi channel business financial planning and forecasting of KPI’s are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.• SME with accountability for the management and development of Arthur planning WSSI. • Using commercial and business intelligence to identify and challenge departmental variances to the company financial plans, providing commentary on findings and recommendations for action.• With the merchandising team, development of high level business plans (£ and volume) and translation to Divisional and Departmental annual, monthly and weekly budgets. • Co-ordinating and developing business strategy and process around the budgeting cycle ensuring all inputs and stakeholders are bought into the process.• Support the delivery of the multi channel offer (Stores, E commerce, International, Catalogue) through leading business development workshops.• Using a combination of business systems and Microsoft software to source analyse and present data.• Compiling succinct yet comprehensive presentation material for delivery to, or on behalf of the Executive team.• Develop and produce business reports, investigating and explaining variances to plan and previous years.• Liaising with IT and other business specialists to develop and maintain core financial planning, ordering and management information/ data warehouse systems.• Providing in house training material and training programmes for all end users within the business specifically around financial management, systems and processes.• Lead business development projects, facilitate user workshops, develop business case and project specification and provide CAPEX submissions.

A numerical and analytical role focused on optimizing the profitability of designated product areas through strategic planning and forecasting of core KPI’s, Range planning and Supply chain management. • Preparation of seasonal buying plans through thorough analysis of historical data and understanding of future trends and activities.• Set and agree core KPI’s with the Buyer in terms of sales, stock intake phasing, margin, stock turn, markdown and terminal stock, translating KPI’s into a range of framework. Gain sign off of these plans from Executive management.• Ensures final ranges selected meets the targets outlined, delivering the range jointly with the Buyer.• Plan and control the initial product intake phasing and stock availability.• Maximize opportunities and minimize risks of performance by monitoring actual performance versus plan, taking remedial action where necessary.• Maintain effective control of Open to Buy Management, Intake, Dispatch, DC & Store stock levels, accurate forecasting of markdown spend and terminal stock forecasts.

• Calculate resource requirements in line with production build plans for 5 major business units and submit Airbus Operational Plan to central operations.• Co-ordinate individual production unit requirements and work closely with HR partners to flex resource dependant on build plans and forecasts.• Prepare and co-ordinate presentation material for Heads of Business for review by Plant Manager and European partners.• Liaise with Central Operations & Final Assembly (France), Fuselage (Germany & Italy), Stabilizers (Spain) to ensure wing delivery schedule met final assembly and customer delivery targets.• Meet monthly with European country counterparts to Ensure Airbus UK was performing in line with central requirements.• Work closely with other UK Plant Production Planner (Filton) to bring together total UK Operational Plan.• Analyse production build targets, engineering build sequences and tooling within lean parameters to forecast production levels and limits.

Merchandising role - focussed on ensuring KPIs are achieved for stores and catalogue. Managing OTB and delivering effective stock management. Liaising with the rest of the trading team, external suppliers and the supply chain.
