A three month internship programme based in HR as a member of the learning and organisational development team• Coordinated first comedy event as part of the summer season of learning and development activities MyCareer, designing tickets, arranging the schedule, liaising with compere and acts, selling tickets. Event was a huge success with great feedback and raising £435 for Teenage Cancer Trust• Organised meetings for employees across the organisation which involved diary checking • Coordinated learning and development events/ workshops included sending invitations, monitoring attendance, arranging meeting and catering and managing events in the HR system - SelectHR• Worked as part of a group of interns to make recommendations on Wellcome’s early talent programmes project involved interviewing colleagues and representatives from other organisations, report writing and preparing a presentation. This was presented to a panel of judges and was met with positive feedback• Used Qualtrics to produce reports on the previous MyCareer seasons, team away days and a pilot scheme of Hot – Desking • Worked with a colleague on a project for Wellcome’s annual staff survey (great places to work) updating appendices from the previous year’s survey• Worked with Wellcome Collection’s (Wellcome’s museum which explores the connections between health, science and art) Visitor Experience Team spending a day to understand the role they play this involved engaging with the public and using knowledge on how learning and development team can support their development

Worked 20 hours a week, alongside studies as an unpaid volunteer for a charity that supports the blind and the deaf • Customer service dealing with queries • Operated the cash register, card transactions • Arranged stock donations, pricing and tagging items • Looked after shop floor displays • Deposited takings at local bank branch managing transactions • Promoted the charity at an organised event providing leaflets on the work sense does• Mentored and supported new recruits with disabilities e.g. autism

A member of the panel for 2 years, aim to bridge the gap between young people in the area and officers • Assisted with the local constabulary in Redbridge understand the role officers play, shifting officer’s involvement of dealing with offences e.g. stop and search • Organised a quiz night for the charity cancer research helped facilitate the event • Organised a tea dance for the older community which involved bringing the young and old community together • Liaising with different schools, aiding police to have improved interaction with youth and topics

Two weeks work experience• Designed booklets for London Youth Games in order to promote school and sport in the community • Worked with individuals with all disabilities which required patience and care • Engaging with the elderly, partaking in walks, keeping their mind and body active within society
