Performed duties as a First Sergeant for a Strategic Signal Company that provided communication support to the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM), United States European Command (USEUCOM), and the United States Army Garrison Stuttgart (USAG-Stuttgart); served as senior enlisted advisor to the commander regarding military personnel, operations, and mission accomplishments; supervised the operation and maintenance of the Joint Nuclear Operations Center (JNOC), and the Communications Security (COMSEC) Management Office (CMO); responsible for the mentorship, training and readiness of over 80 Soldiers and 3 Civilians.

Served as a Communication and Information Systems (CIS) Infrastructure Cryptographic Technician in the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) Cyber Security Section, CIS Support Unit (CSU) Naples, a multi-national, joint-Service agency providing interoperable communications and information systems and services to the Allied Joint Force Command Naples (JFCNP); ensured the confidentiality, availability and integrity of CIS network and infrastructure is at the forefront when planning; conducted computer security inspections; controlled user access to removable storage media in accordance with security and configuration control procedure; managed cyber threats within an ever evolving and challenging cyber domain and coordinated directly with NATO Computer Incident Response Capability (NCIRC) Centre to maintain CIS security and integrity of the NATO Secret (NS) and Public Access Networks (PAN).

Served as the Change Manager (ChM) for Enterprise Network Service (ENS) division of the 4th Regional Cyber Center Pacific (4RCC-P); collaborated with other Process Managers and owners to plan and coordinate both current and future process activities within their AOR; managed the resources allocated for the ChM Process; monitored and provided reports on ChM performance; implemented policies and procedures; enforced compliance with established ChM standard procedures; provided guidance and support in organizing and administrating Change Advisory Board (CAB); responsible for the professional development, safety, welfare and morale of seven Soldiers and four Civilians.

Served as Senior Computer Network Defense Analyst for Computer Network Defense (CND) division for 4th Regional Cyber Center Pacific (4RCC-P); Oversaw the administration and integration of CND Information Systems (IS) including McAfee Host-Based Security System (HBSS) and NetScout nGeniusONE platform; provided CND services to three Network Enterprise Centers (NECs) blanketing approximately 25,000 NIPR/SIPR systems and 30,000 users through the land War Network-Pacific; managed the professional development, safety, welfare and morale for 8 personnel.

Served as Communication Security (COMSEC) Manager, responsible for COMSEC management of four subordinate battalions and the Regional Cyber Center-Pacific (RCC-P); provided strategic and tactical COMSEC services to enforce policy and guidance; supervised planning and movement of COMSEC material; responsible for SIPR Video Teleconference (VTC); accounted for operational readiness of Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) valued in excess of $100,000; supervised and responsible for the health, moral and welfare of 2 personnel.
