This is a family owned and operated business I helped establish and then worked in for 8 months. I was responsible for the initial business setup which included: New office setup, Conduct market research, Develop Marketing and Sales Plans, Oversight of the development of the company Website and Facebook pages, Staff recruitment, Develop Vision Mission, Values, Business Plan, Operational plan and Key Performance Indicators for new business, Develop company policies and procedures, Manage assets and financial resources, Complete Payroll requirements for all staff using XERO, conduct market research to determine what builders and customers want and need in order to ensure new product success, Network within communities to find and attract new business, preparation of financial reports for accounting purposes.

In my role at LiveBetter, I supported a team of clinical staff providing clinical support to customers with complex health needs. I am passionate about quality and safety in healthcare, as such I was employed to work under the Care Governance team and was an active member of the Clinical Governance Committee. A large part of my role was to build and maintain stakeholder relationships both internally and externally in order to ensure the highest quality outcomes in healthcare planning and healthcare management were achieved. I was responsible for the implementation of a health promotion model of care across Disability and Out of Home Care Services in my time at LiveBetter. I enjoy a challenge or two, and as such participated in the development of many new program initiatives to support growth and expansion of LiveBetter's services in line with strategic planning, one such program was in home Telehealth Monitoring. I helped promote LiveBetter's heath services through press releases, social events, speaking to groups and other activities. Policy and Procedure development were part of my day to day work, as was regular health data reviews and auditing.

I worked for many years on a fast paced mixed perioperative surgical ward before moving into the Pre-Admission and Day of Surgery Admission Units. I then moved into a Senior Management role as the Nurse Manager responsible for Management of the Elective surgical waiting list and associated bookings, admissions and reporting processes.
