The tourism and hospitality industry is a key driver of Tasmania's economy and in this senior, industry-facing role I was responsible for leading a significant program of economic development initiatives. Leading a team of industry and government specialists, my focus was on fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholder groups to develop impactful policy and funding solutions for complex matters including workforce, business development and infrastructure investment. Chief speechwriter for CEO and Chair. Managed annual stakeholder mapping and audit process and coordinated subsequent engagement strategies across all levels of government, community, business and tourism industry stakeholders. Majority of the work supported the airport’s master planning process, in response to the Federal Government’s sharpened focus on the aviation industry and a renewed regulatory emphasis on consultation around infrastructure projects.
