I am the founder of Oberkorn, a specialised regulatory compliance advisory firm with a strong focus on Fintech, Payments & Digital Banking.A Barrister and recognised expert in Payment Services Regulation, I have extensive retail banking experience having spent almost 20 years with Bank of Ireland where I was the primary legal adviser to the payments team, advising on payments regulation, data protection and commercial contracts.In addition to my consultancy practice, I work closely with the Banking & Payments Federation of Ireland (BPFI) and the Fintech & Payments Association of Ireland (FPAI), representing them at the European Payments Council where I am a member of both the Legal Support Group and the Dispute Resolution Committee. A former lecturer at Trinity College Dublin, I am currently an associate faculty member at IOB where I deliver courses on Risk & Compliance in a Fintech Environment, AML & Financial Crime in a Fintech Environment and Digital Risk. I am also a regular contributor and speaker on Fintech & Payments at industry level events.
