Previous responsibility of management of projects including delivery of project and close out to schedule, delivering Macmahon and their shareholders project margin. Successful preparation, negotiation and close out of several Extension of Time (EOT) Claims. Re-negotiation of Payment Schedules to include for Change of Design (Variations) and Works Methodology to include acceleration and nightshift works. Manage of integration between Macmahon Construction and Macmahon Underground from Construction works to Mining Phase of Works. Implemented several new safety initiatives which due to their success are now being standardised across Macmahon business, including refocus meeting and weekly return to work newsletter. Training and Mentoring of ex-patriot Macmahon Project Manager, Engineers and Staff in Macmahon systems and business processes.

MGF has 250 personnel with a turnover of $50 million pa.Extensive involvement in the negotiation, design and management of temporary support equipment at tender and construction stage for several major projects in the London area including: Drainage systems for M1, 8 lane freeway providing Titan and Heavy Duty Tank Brace for the installation of Interceptor Tanks. River Uck Crossing providing 120 Ton Hydraulic Props for Bridge refurbishment works. A421 Bypass, 4 lane freeway providing Trench Box solutions for drainage runs. Foundation and Basement Support Systems in Central London and surrounding areas utilising Super Tank Brace (strongest modular support system in the UK).Key member of the original sales team for new South East (London) depot. Only depot within MGF to be profitable within the first 12 months of operation.Experience working in various areas including credit control, manufacturing, engineering design, capital sales and hire desk.Generate and provide Ground Support product presentations and bespoke engineering design solutions within the MGF product range.Developing cost estimates and quotations for equipment for individual site and customer needs, including engineering design recommended solutions and re designs.High level involvement within a multi disciplinary, national workforce with substantial interaction at all levels from workshop staff to executive management.Involvement in daily site visits to obtain information for support solutions and discuss installation techniques and method statements and clients to comply with UK Health and Safety laws.Daily contact at all levels within client business, main contractors and sub contractors including buyers, estimators, surveyors, contract managers, agents/sub-agents and senior management.
