Management of design department responsible for 10+ single and multi family residential projects per year. Responsible for implementing BIM for fabrication in a very short time frame, creating design standards and processes. Managed and designed the fabrication process from Revit for super-insulated exterior walls for high performing buildings, to panelized wall fabrication machinery, including custom programming of Revit plugins and management system that included also integration of inventory and production management.

Responsible for BIM implementation in the company across multiple geographic locations, from hiring team members to creating standards and processes. The new BIM capability also helped generate new business that quickly offset implementation costs. After BIM implementation the next step was to start the pilot projects from complex model coordination, interference checks with underground, aerial existing conditions and the new project. Also checking for constructability especially considering machinery access and logistics on the job site. The results on the job site was quickly noted by the reduction of conflicts and consequent savings. Responsible for implementation of large scale laser scanning and reality capture using drones.
