• Rapid and timely processing of new and follow-up reports of adverse events, side effects and product complaints.
• Processing all the (Serious) Adverse Event (AE's) and Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse Reaction (SUSAR's) in the Global Safety Database
• Contacting reporters of the adverse events and site effects to obtain complete information for analysis
• Liaise with different functional team members, e.g. project management, clinical, data management health care professionals e.g. investigators, medical monitors, site coordinators and designees to address project.

• At the Immunology department responsible for the research of the humoral response against the AAV vector used for uniQures single treatment gene therapies. Projects entailed the following:
• Determining the prevalence of anti-AAV neutralizing antibodies against several AAV vectors in a cohort of healthy donors and several patient populations with an AAV-luciferase based cell assay
• Developing an electrochemiluminescent-based assay to screen AAV specific IgG and IgM concentrations and Avidity in human donors, human patients and NHP samples
• Troubleshooting and improving ELISA assays to detect AAV specific IgG antibodies
