I have been an Aviation Insurance Agent since January 1, 2022. Prior to that I was an underwriter for USAIG for 15+ years. I write policies for airplanes from a small Cessna 182 to a Bombardier Global Express to a Bell 430 Helicopter. I also write policies for Airport Commercial General Liability and Pleasure and Business. I also have other interests in urban planning and economic development.I currently have my Commercial Pilot's License with Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings. I do not currently exercise my commercial privileges, however, I do fly for company business. We have a Cessna 182 for our office which I have several hundred hours in. Currently, I have 1,200 total flight hours.In 2012, I became a certified licensed insurance agent for property and casualty with the state of Ohio. I am licensed in various states, although not appointed with any underwriting companies. In 2010, I started an aviation group in Toledo called the Northwest Ohio Aviation Council. Our purpose is to promote aviation and aviation safety in the Northwest Ohio/Toledo area.
