Lead LinkedIn’s Carbon Negative program. Partner with key stakeholders in Workplace Design & Build, Operations, Travel, Data Center Engineering, and Global Strategic Sourcing to implement climate solutions that will help LinkedIn meet its climate commitments.

In my current position, I lead the cross-functional development of LinkedIn’s climate strategy to accelerate progress toward and meet its 2030 Carbon Negative commitment. I facilitate tactical roadmap implementation and manage a comprehensive carbon emissions reduction program in partnership with key stakeholders including Strategic Sourcing, Travel & Transportation, Data Center Engineering, Design & Build, and Operations. I am responsible for measuring and reporting on LinkedIn’s environmental impacts to executive leadership and to our parent company (Microsoft). In addition, I am continually driving carbon accounting methodology improvements to improve data accuracy, refine our emissions reduction pathway, and drive emissions reduction efforts accordingly. My key achievements include:• Built and manage global dashboard to measure and report company environmental metrics to parent company, tracking progress toward public renewable energy and carbon commitments.• Led formation of Executive Steering Committee comprising managers from Workplace Programs, Data Center Engineering, Travel, Design & Build, and Strategic Sourcing to synthesize key levers, implementation timelines, resource needs, challenges, and carbon emissions reduction potential relative to 2030 Carbon Negative goal; convene quarterly and report output directly to CFO.• Spearheaded addition of carbon emissions disclosure and reduction plan requirements into Partner Code of Conduct, and collaborated with Strategic Sourcing and Microsoft Procurement to develop supporting educational resources on GHG accounting available to all LinkedIn suppliers.• Successfully sold business case to Finance leadership, in partnership with Travel & Transportation, to increase internal carbon fee for employee air travel by 4x, revenue from which will grow critical funding for carbon reduction programs.• Diversified LinkedIn's carbon removal portfolio to incorporate both nature-based and permanent engineered solutions.

In this role, I managed a book of more than 30 enterprise accounts comprised of Engineering-News Record (ENR) Top 400 General Contractors to ensure they realized the full value of BuildingConnected’s BC Pro precon and TradeTapp prequal products and services. I onboarded new customers and served as their trusted advisor with a focus on establishing time to first value rapidly and worked proactively to drive strategic value, expand solution adoption, and recommend best practices to optimize their post-purchase experience.

In this position, I managed 25+ enterprise and mid-market accounts generating nearly one-third of company ARR from corporate, government, and higher education verticals. I assessed customer needs and match Lucid product solutions to maximize value. I developed and implemented strategic customer account plans comprised of overall success, goal ranking, and risk mitigation interventions. I worked cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, operations, engineering, and support to create and secure upsell opportunities and implement product enhancements. My key achievements include:• I grew customer net ARR every quarter, resulting in nearly 25% increase in ARR across assigned accounts and less than 5% churn to-date.• I successfully managed 40% more accounts than my assigned target.• I exceeded the number of identified qualified upsell opportunities goal by 20%.• I developed and implemented multi-faceted customer training programs to ensure seamless integration and enable client self-sufficiency.• I increased referenceable customer count to assist sales and marketing with case study and success story development and to highlight innovative product features.

During this time, I led university-wide renewable energy procurement and carbon emissions reduction initiatives, managing external clients and engaging cross-functional internal stakeholders. I also collected, analyzed, and prepared GHG footprint data to prepare public reports and to track progress toward GW’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) targets. My key achievements include:• I led a large-scale offsite renewable energy procurement for 50% of school’s electricity demand, successfully negotiating the largest US non-utility solar power purchase agreement (PPA) at the time of signing and resulting in a 30% projected reduction in institution’s GHG footprint.• I managed the implementation of the University's first energy and sustainability dashboard, successfully scaling the platform across 1+ million square feet of building space.• I partnered with the school's primary paper supplier, government officials, and NGO subject matter experts to launch a sustainable paper procurement initiative and develop a supplier scorecard. After a successful pilot, the policy was instituted University-wide, with projected annual reductions of more than 40 metric tons CO2 and 400,000 gallons of water as a result.• I was nominated by my peers for the Tops in Ops award in 2012 and 2013, for the Service Excellence award in 2013, and the Student Supervisor of the Year award in 2015.

In this role, I refined the customer ROI and subscription pricing model for SAP Carbon Impact 2.0 to support the launch of the company's first on-demand SaaS tool for enterprise carbon management. My key achievements include:• I identified KPIs and executive-level climate change performance incentives linked to GHG goals for 10 industries; report used by Chief Sustainability Officer to demonstrate IT sector thought leadership and by sales staff to improve customer targeting.• I refined the customer ROI and subscription pricing model for SAP Carbon Impact 2.0; model supported launch of company's first on-demand SaaS tool for enterprise carbon management.

At this time, I managed a multifaceted initiative across several departments to improve Ford's reporting on energy, environmental, and social performance. My key achievements include:• I increased Ford’s Sustainability Asset Management benchmarking score to 79 in 2009 Dow Jones Sustainability Index report, up from 66 in 2008 (sector average: 72).

Career Note: I also worked as a Control Systems Security Program Manager 2005 to 2008, as a Technology Delivery Program Manager from 2003 to 2005 and as an Energy Analyst from 2000 to 2003 at Energetics Incorporated. My key achievements include:• I facilitated 55 experts in cyber security workshop, and co-authored "Roadmap to Secure Control Systems in the Energy Sector", recommended as model plan by National Infrastructure Advisory Council in report to U.S. President. • I created a reporting system to track U.S. DOE Technology Delivery Program performance metrics, enabling improved management toward departmental milestones. Wrote monthly ʺBestPractices Todayʺ newsletter.• I presented and published an analysis of the energy-water nexus in major U.S. manufacturing industries at the 2001 American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Industry.
