Simply put - I am fortunate to have a career where I really enjoy what I do. FB Environmental is an environmental consulting firm that focuses on protecting our valuable natural resources. We assess and restore lakes, rivers, streams, wetlands, and estuaries but a lot of our work takes place presenting sound science to New England communities. We are concerned with the place where "science meets civics" - trying to bridge the gap between sound science and policy. Our specialties include lake assessment and management, marine fisheries, stormwater management, urban stream restoration, ecological assessment and monitoring, wetland delineation, coastal bacteria source tracking, modeling, mapping, and water quality monitoring. We have an office on Exchange Street in Portland Maine's Old Port and one in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
