Supported a great team of Parsons managers and engineers in identifying, pursuing, and winning technical support opportunities serving Federal clients in Huntsville and other key locations. Sustained client contacts to identify current and emerging requirements, recommending appropriate internal investments and actions aligning Parsons Corporation capabilities with customer and industry partner needs.

Represented AeroVironment business area sustainment and growth interests in coordination with AeroVironment managers, engineers, and business development staff. Designed and implemented a supporting business framework ensuring persistent representation with customers, industry partners, and community interests. Identified tactical and strategic Army growth opportunities and coordinated business and customer alignments to leverage AeroVironment unmanned systems research, manufacturing, and practical field expertise.

Managed the business development team in the identification of markets, customer organizations, and product delivery venues; aligned business development directors and managers in gaining and sustaining relevant customer and industry partner networks supporting the identification, pursuit, capture, and proposal of unmanned systems opportunities; and ensured the disciplined preparation of opportunity proposals in coordination with the larger ISR Group staff team. Developed business development and proposal preparation processes and supporting policy, serving as the executive agent and advocate for opportunity management tracking processes and databases, gate reviews, proposal development templates, and associated on-line or internal automated support tools.

Led business development teammates at Corporate and Group in the identification, pursuit, and attainment of new business opportunities. Ensured the development and maintenance of a Corporate pipeline and funnel with emphasis upon GWAC, multiple award IDIQ contracts, and prime single award opportunities at values $50M or more. Developed business development policy to ensure support to Group and Division opportunity pursuit efforts and the incorporation of Corporate elements including strategic communications, market research, independent research and development, and government funding support.

Identified, pursued, and supported large land combat and intelligence-related virtual and constructive training simulation opportunities (e.g. Virtual Combat Convoy Trainer (VCCT), Cognitive Leader Environment (CLE), and Warfighters’ Simulation (WARSIM) in support of Army, Joint, national, and select international agencies. Initiated and managed integrated teams for specific new business opportunities, developing advanced training concept presentations for internal and external senior decision-makers, and practical program pursuit plans for execution.

Managed Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) simulation programs including Internal Research and Development efforts to develop a desktop ISR architecture simulation; ISR simulations integration and practical robotics demonstrations in the RDE Command Advanced Robotics Testbed; and subcontractor team roles in support of the Warfighters’ Simulation and Joint Simulation System Software Support Facility. Coordinated with external Defense agencies to explore and field applications supporting data fusion, simulation-based acquisition, and future systems analysis.

Ensured operational architecture integration of the US Army WARSIM Intelligence Module (WIM) with the Joint Simulation System (JSIMS) and its composite nine service and national agency development agents (DA). Collaborated with customer agencies and other intelligence model developers to ensure national-to-tactical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance system of systems representation. Assisted in the development of system and software solutions in each phase of the software development process, with particular emphasis upon identifying, scoping, and satisfying cross-DA technical interactions and system software dependencies.

Served in enlisted and commissioned officer roles in the Infantry, Air Defense, and Military Intelligence Corps. Service highlights included Futures assignments at the US Army Intelligence Center; two tours with the 82d Airborne Division as an Infantry Battalion and Division Artillery Intelligence S2; joint duty at Pacific Command as a Strategic Analyst and Warning Officer; instructor positions teaching detailed electronics at the Air Defense Center & School; and a foundational start as a mortarman with the magnificent Rakkasans.
