In 2013, just after finishing my undergraduate education, with no experience in the food & beverage industry or distribution, I decided to start Distribuidora Excelon. I took this decision as I saw a lack of differentiated products in Costa Rica and saw great opportunity. Today, Distribuidora Excelon is a business representing 14 international suppliers from 4 different countries and selling to the most prestigious retailers in Costa Rica. Important achievements:• Introduce more than 100 food and beverage products despite the challenges of Costa Rican bureaucracy• Created a growth plan that allowed the company to increase sales year by year, with an 80% growth in sales during the 2018 fiscal year• As part of the growth plan, I created business relationships with more than 200 customers in Costa Rica, focusing on a geographical strategy of expansion in tourist destinations and affluent areas• I established a business relationship with the most prestigious retail chains in Costa Rica, which represented a challenge since requirements are high, service standards very strict and necessary marketing support very aggressive. Responsibilities:• Manage international and local logistics• Sales and purchasing forecast to ensure efficient inventory management while being able to fulfill our customers’ most demanding fill rate, while maintain inventory loss below 3%• Constant monitoring of sales and strategy to ensure sales goals are achieved• Supervision of key accounts to ensure growth in modern retail chains• Implement and execute marketing plans for key accounts• Constant research of global market trends and new products to evaluate new product introduction into our brand portfolio

• Collaborate with students, professors and school associates to ensure efficient daily operations

• Supervise a T&E and Real Estate SAP implementation for a major multinational retailer• Coordinate project-wide meetings with all teams in order to identify stress points and ensure on-time progress• Deliver bilingual action item reports and a triweekly basis

• Thoroughly tested “WackyLands Boss” video game for iPhone and PSP• Detected, reported and discussed bugs with project manager on a daily basis• Reviewed all of Sony’s requirements for the PSP version to ensure on time release under Sony’s standards
