I began my career writing children’s books for Jim Henson Productions. Later moved into the interactive industry and created digital content first at The Voyager Company and later at Time Warner Electronic Publishing where I produced a series of CD-ROMs and online demos. When IBM created a consumer division, I was hired to develop a line of family friendly software. While managing development teams of 20-30 people with a budget of $500k plus, I created award-winning BrainQuest and Crayola software. At IBM I also managed the early development of an art and culture website working with such cultural institutions as Lincoln Center, The Natural History Museum, and The Hermitage. After IBM, I further explored my interest in the environment by founding and running Sage Baby, an online eco-friendly baby store offering everything from organic clothes and skin care to furniture. Jumping on my passion for environmental issues, I became an environmental blogger for Martha Stewart’s Whole Living magazine, writing over 100 blogs on subjects ranging from eco vacations to organic baby clothes; I also blogged on environmental subjects for the Huffington Post, Elephant Journal, The Family Grove, YogaCity, Citiscoop and Daily Candy Kids. I have also written web content and blogs for start-up PIPs, an online social good rewards site.Currently I am a member of Golden Seeds, an active early-stage investment company focused on women-led businesses.
