Director for STEAM Focused Project Based Learning After-school program that grew from serving 60 kids to move than 600 served over the 4 year period. Supervised staff of 10 to 25, implemented exciting parent engagement program, taught computer, technology and some engineering classes to students as well.

Responsible for planning and managing of programs and resources for Non-Profit CDC that operates Child Care Center; Affordable Housing Program; Computer and Financial Education Classes; Micro-Enterprise Loan Facilitators; a 350 seat banquet facility; and After School and Summer Camp Programs. As Program Manager responsible for fiscal management, compliance and reporting for more than $2.5 million in grant funding, creation of an additional twenty jobs with an economic impact of over $250,000; accountable for procurement of materials and human resources; staff development, program, curriculum and course design and implementation, effective utilization of materials and resources.

STOP The Funeral initiative began in May, 2007 after the murder of a young women at funeral. It was founded in on three guiding principles, Hope, Restoration and Spiritual Warfare. It has been our assignment to bring Hope to our community and to the young men and women entrenched in a culture riddled with drugs, violence and crime. Our 2nd Chance program brings Hope by providing resources and guidance through our workshop series held in partnership with Theresa Barratt, Director of the Day Reporting Center, Dennis Gaddy, Executive Director of Community Success Initiative and Carolyn Perry, Director, Micro-Enterprise Loan Program N.C. Rural Economic Development Center. The 2nd Chance program brings Restoration to our neighborhoods by bringing leadership and business development skills and resources to those hoping to find employment or start a business.As Administrator and now Program Director, it has been assignment to guide the Initiative, to develop 2nd Chance program offerings and workshops, to teach and train mentor/coaches, to recruit resources and participants and to fund raise for the initiative.
