Francis Arthur is a development practitioner with over ten (10) years of extensive experience in community development, local governance, technology for development, program design and management, development planning, financial inclusion and digital financing, research, monitoring and evaluation. He has actively been involved in community and social development work, research and the design, implementation, uptake and scale-up (i.e. business modelling) of innovative programs in agriculture, social and financial inclusion. Francis Arthur has expertise in using participatory and human centered design approaches for programming, community engagement, research and advocacy. He has worked in the public sector (Local Government Service) and on collaborative projects with a number of private non-profit and for profit local/international development organizations like World Vision, Solidaridad, ICI, Rotary International, Child Right International, VSO, Mondelèz International, CLGF, Rainforest Alliance, Touton, Cocoanect, ECOM, ACDI VOCA, Farm Radio International and Grameen Foundation (GF). His works have extensively been across the Sub-saharan Africa. He is a corporate member of Ghana Institute of Planners (GIP) and Commonwealth Association of Planners (CAP), professional bodies for planners.
