And another one! (Thanks DJ Khalid!)Moving from nights after all this time and back to a day time roster we are completing another large scale roll out for Coles.2400 PC's in 10 weeks! Upgrading all Back of House PC's for Coles supermarkets, and if that roll out is not big enough we are also upgrading more portable printers.Just because we love punching out the work, at the same time we are also upgrading Coles Express POS machines across 723 stores. That's a total of 1385 POS machines!While we are there we are even smashing out a whole bunch of UPS's and Pinpads.Not without its challengers but we are off to a rocking start with a fantastic team behind us both from the Coles side and the IMI side.Looking forward to another great tenure with Coles.

Welcome to another exciting roll out for Coles!This time around we are rolling out new servers / printers & portable printers along with new server technology to Coles supermarkets around Australia.With a slightly larger team them last years CEXP Roll Out, we are scheduled to roll out over 800 servers in over 400 stores along with more than 1500 portable printer and more than 500 printers. A large scale deployment backed by a dedicate night support team in which I head, with highly trained and experienced onsite engineers.This project has some crucial time constraints that are required to be adhere to, to ensure all stores are able to trade following the server upgrade. The server upgrades consist of live migration all existing data from the current servers to the new. Once completed old servers are packed up ready and for recycling.

Heading a small team of network engineers and system administrations, my role is to ensure the successful migration of Coles server migrations, switch upgrades, WiFi upgrades and peripheral upgrades to the existing Coles Express and Coles Liquor owned stores around Australia. With over 800 stores receiving and upgrade this is set out to be a exciting and challenging role and I look forward to the successful completion of this project.

Engaged through one of our channel partners we were asked to complete the deployment and staging of 495 switches for Victoria University. With the following high level scope:Remove and de-install all switches from Vic Uni cabinets. Install all new switches and re-cable, patch and provide a new patching schedule.Stage switches and apply Vic Uni config and test.With a mix of 8, 24 & 48 port switches, Routers and additional modules we successfully carried out all works and upgraded Vic Uni with the latest technology from Cisco.All work was completed after hours with a team of dedicated, skilled and resourceful IMI engineers on the go. Deploying in almost every campus for Vic Uni from inner city to the far west our team excelled in the deployment of a unified solution to Vic Uni from physical installation to patching schedules.Another happy customer

As part of a joint venture with IBM I was asked to take part in a role under the Coles LCM (Life Cycle Managent) Program. Responsibilities consist of maintaining and running the day to day activities of the internal support team. And manganing the onsite technicians Australia wide and ensuring they are conforming to SLA'sAfter coming in late to the project there was a large amount of ground work that needed to take place to establish the communication between the onsite deployment teams and the internal support teams. There was large amounts of procedures implemented and definitions of roles and responsibilities clarified for everyone to adhere too. A both fun and challenging role but most importantly a great experience!

A very interesting experience working for the telco giant. This experience gave me the drive and motivation to go out on my own and expierence what it would be like to run my own business.
