Bauer & Associates was founded by Frank Bauer in 2010. Under Bauer & Associates, Frank has assisted in the marketing, sales and technical development of new products in the area of food packaging and food science. Some of his clients have been Plantic Technologies and Diversified Green (CMS Technology). In addition, Frank has worked with the Department of Food, Nutrition and Packaging Science at Clemson University and was instrumental in the upgrade to their renown retort testing facility. He was also responsible for the contribution of a Multivac thermoformer to their packaging lab. Frank is looking for partners interested in the development and commercialization of retort thermoform packaging materials.In 2014 Bauer & Associates established the Southeast operation for Graffiti Foods, which specializes in the development and manufacturing of proprietary and customized food products for the food industry. Frank Bauer formed Back Porch Enterprises LLC in 2012 to develop the Back Porch restaurant concept. As owner of the Back Porch he directed his team with the development of a Cajun (casual dining) menu while utilizing cook-chill and Sous Vide packaging concepts. This business was sold in September of 2014. He is currently working on a cook-chill program that utilizes locally produce ingredients to produce value added products.
