I initiate the process for slot occupational licensing by entering data into License Ease. Captures electronic fingerprints for each applicant and conducts a check with the Association of Racing Commissioners International (ARCI). Collects appropriate fees from the licensed slot facility. Assists Division's Licensing Section with information regarding prospective applicants as necessary. I Performs license distribution at facilities. Transfers, upgrades, and license renewals as requested. Receives, verifies, and observes slot machine and component deliveries. Observes and records all slot machine adjustments; ram clears, conversions, and relocations. Conducts software inventory checks related to facility slot files and storage. Observes, records, and reports all possible violations, complaints and incidents. Operated surveillance equipment for possible criminal violations which are used in court for prosecution. I completed daily inspections at the casino facilities using regulatory/statutory checklists. I act as the liaison between supervisor and slot facilities. I support the Mission and Vision of the Division and the Office of Slot Operations, specifically, with regard to exceptional customer service, and comply with the Policies and Procedures of the Office of Slot Operations. I performed other duties as requested by the supervisor.

I worked the surveillance room as an surveillance investigator observing the card room area as well as the poker games being played. I also handle report writing of incidents as they occurred and provided visual edvidence when needed for court cases due to legal purposes, I monitored the poker room area as a security officer from time to time to make sure that the card games was running smooth and there was no cheating going on. I also assist with the lock up procedure when it came time to shut down the harness track, making sure all patrons were out of the building and all doors were locked and secured. I also conducted money escorts to the money vault.
