Provide emergency care in rural and urban settings and emergency and routine transfers. Proficient in I/O, CPAP, 12-lead monitoring and interpretations. Monitor and maintain medications drips, IV’s, chest tubes. The service does approximately 8000 calls annually.

Provide emergency medical care in a rural setting. Including emergency and routine transfers. Proficient in rapid sequence intubations, CPAP, I/O and 12-Lead Monitoring and interpretation. Monitor and maintain medications drips, IV’s, chest tubes and ventilators.

Provide cardiac critical care to patients in the Cath Lab suite. Operations of balloon pumps, tandem heart and impella. Monitor and maintain medications drips, IV’s, chest tubes and ventilators, Hemodynamic, central and arterial line monitoring, charting and first assistant scrub in interventions and diagnostic catheterizations. In addition, I routinely serve as the charge nurse in the unit. Also, I was a member of the STEMI Review Committee and provide cardiac education to pre-hospital providers. I serve on the TAVR team for the Cath lab.

Provided emergency medical care in a large metropolitan service area with 30,000 calls on an annual basis. Proficient in 12-lead monitoring and interpretation, rapid sequence intubation, I/O application. During my tenure there, I served on the Board of Directors for the Employee Relief Association. Also, participated in the EMS Memorial Bike Ride in 2002. In my time here I responded to approximately 2,000 calls a year for service, I performed approximately 24 intubations a year that included RSI's and numerous medications and IV insertions.
