CurrentFORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY: consult with courts, attorneys, organizations and private clients regarding civil and criminal cases involving:Applying psychology to the criminal justice systemAssessing offenders’ state of mind at time of offenseAssessing competency of individuals to stand trial, be own guardian, etc.Assessing risk of re-offendingAssess witness credibilityEvaluate child custody in divorcePrepare for and provide testimony in courtAssess consistency of factual information across multiple sourcesAdvise police on mental illness and criminal psychologyConsult with attorneys on mental health issues in the court systemWork with at-risk populations such as trauma survivorsRESIDENTIAL/INPATIENT FACILITY CONSULTATION: Assist with behavior management/case consultation and diagnostic and risk assessments of Developmentally Disabled or Mentally Ill clients or clients in nursing homes. Also provide staff training in developing behavior plans.
