• Sole Contract Department Attorney for this $2 Billion gross receipt subsidiary of Volt Information Sciences, Inc., a Fortune 1000 company. Major accomplishments include:
• Drafted and negotiated complex commercial contracts with Fortune 100 and Global 100 companies.
• Negotiated contracts for the provision of temporary staffing services in Canada, Brazil, Singapore, Japan, India, Malaysia and European Union countries.
• Provided sole support to Supplier Management group to establish and maintain good relationships with over 1,300 suppliers to primary customers.
• Monitored supplier and customer legal compliance with labor and employment laws, including Wage and Hour, Non-compete, and non-discrimination.
• Successfully defended vendor non-payment and third-party employee discrimination claims. Managed risk to successfully avoid major litigation of any kind from Customers, Suppliers or third-party claimants.

• Managed all aspects of recruiting, advertising, and compliance for this independent temporary services subsidiary of AT&T/Lucent Technologies.
• Recognized unit was in violation of an important State registration obligation and directed the completion of the necessary applications, avoiding State penalties.
• Member of corporate task force that developed contingent worker policy to protect company from co-employment liability. Worked closely with legal to evaluate risks

Provided design and system maintenance for complex prescription claim fulfillment systems serving a network of over 75,000 pharmacies and more than a million individual members. Penalties for system failure were up to $10,000 a minute.

• Project leader, systems analyst, and program designer for online systems.
• Recognized need for a new report for a major payment system. On my own initiative designed, coded and implemented a series of new reports which resulted in saving one full person-month of effort per month for the user.
• Designed and coded a series of programs to emulate a DBMS scheduled for replacement. This allowed continued system operation without a need to make extensive modifications to programs heavily dependent on the logical.

• Designed and supervised the implementation of a system to integrate data from the order processing system of the parent corporation with the legacy order entry and billing system used by Circle-F. This project was two.
