Both projects were integrated projects with cross-segment operations, particularly with Drilling and Measurements and Drilling Fluids.The Leiv Eiriksson had the highest job count and highest revenue for 2+ years for Norway. The project was a consortium between 5 clients where each well was unique and the majority of the wells were exploration. Technical challenges included shallow water flows, loss circulation, gas migration and harsh environments. The use of bridge plugs, retrievable packers and cement support tools was a regular occurrence. This was the first integrated project for SLB in Norway and the model was used for subsequent projectsReference: Carl HalsThe Brage project was a late-life slot recovery field where the goal was to increase and extend production in the Brage field. This was done in a challenging economic environment where the name of the game was effective no-frills proven solutions. I started at the beginning of the project during the planning phase workng in-house with the client and key SLB services. Following that we successfully drilled the first batch of wells which proved the concept. It was excellent team environment.
