Fred led the implementation of one of the first comprehensive HL7 based hospital information systems which linked the core ADT (Admit, Discharge, Transfer) functionality with the ancillary systems such as Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Dietary. At OTB Solutions, Fred continues to build on his healthcare experience while managing several of OTB’s larger accounts. This currently ranges from implementing major hospital electronic health record systems to assisting clients with current challenges and strategies. Fred spent 18 years as a consultant with Accenture and then Avanade before co-founding OTB solutions Group in 2002. Prior to his consulting career, Fred worked as a Control Systems Design Engineer, at the Boeing Company Defense Systems group and for Honeywell Marine Systems. During his graduate studies, Fred helped start a medical device development and manufacturing company focused on technologies to detect and prevent infant sleep apnea.
