Complete activities required for the construction and operation of SFPUC infrastructure, including preparation of feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, environmental review documents and permit applications, and other technical information required to secure permits. Coordinate work across a broad range of staff and management in infrastructure and operations in order to secure approvals for more than $1 billion in infrastructure construction projects. Manage and direct a wide array of consultants. Prepare and manage contracts, scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for assigned responsibilities on projects such as dams, pipelines, treatment facilities, pump stations, bridges, microwave communication systems, corporation yards, and sewer systems for large-scale residential development projects. Coordinate work with other city departments; federal, state and local regulatory agencies; developers; consultants; and stakeholders.
